User engagement strategy for a rowing-based fitness app..

Goals

CITYROW GO knew that users who take eight classes are more likely to remain engaged and active. With that discovery, CITYROW GO turned to Givz to launch a social impact campaign aimed at increasing user engagement while also learning about the causes that resonate most with the CITYROW community.

Solution

A Shop-to-Givz campaign that offered users $20 Givz Cash for completing eight CITYROW GO classes in the month of November (2019). Upon completing the eight class, users were rewarded Givz Cash to support CITYROW GO’s spotlight charities or the charity of their choice.

Results

With their campaign, CITYROW GO boosted engagement by 26.5% and saw a 20% redemption rate. The CITYROW GO community supported 15 unique charities across 8 charity types.
